Mass Effect 3 is easily one of the year’s biggest games, and in saying that, its achievements list is something a lot of people are curious about. Well, be curious no more, as we now have the complete list of Achievements the game has to offer – both in single player and in multiplayer.

If you’re still with us, is it a good or bad thing that BioWare essentially made two sets of Achievements? One set for the single player and another for the multiplayer. Also, I think it’s safe to assume that the Trophy list for the PS3 version is exactly the same as this one – albeit, they’re named as Trophies and are scored accordingly in Sony’s ranking system.

To be honest, it took some willpower to not read the entire list. I only read parts of it for fear of spoiling the game for myself.

This specific batch was born out of community meta experiences spanning the decade since Halo: CE launched in 2001. For example, you can now get an achievement if you complete The Library on Legendary in 30 minutes or less. No small feat but if you pull it off, you will then gain a monument to all your sins. I mean, a virtual monument for surviving the experience.

Prologue – Troubled Past

•  At the very start when you gain control of Marcus, go in the door to your right to find the first COG Tag.

Act 1: Chapter 1 – Anchored

• After killing all of the Lamberts on the deck, find the metal container with the COG logo. Go behind the container, and look up to see a dead body. Shoot the body, and it will drop the COG Tag.

Act 1: Chapter 3 – Homecoming

• At the end of the Grocery area, and before using the Loader Mech robot, you will have to transport some food. When you get to it, you will see the COG logo sprayed on a wall leading to a room with the COG Tag on the desk in the room.

Act 1: Chapter 4 – Helping Hand

•  The COG Tag is found right after you get out of the Camp’s warehouse and you are heading into the Stadium. Look for the COG logo on the brick wall. The COG Tag is on a dead man near the far right end of the area.

Act 1: Chapter 6 – Hanging By A Thread

• Once you enter the Locust outpost, you will see a van on your right. Near it is a COG logo, and a ladder leading down. Go down the ladder, and follow the path to find the COG Tag.

Act 2: Chapter 1 – Shipwreck

• As you are fighting the Locust and the Brumak at the beach where Chairman Prescott is, look beside where he is lying down. The COG Tag is behind the cargo.

Act 2: Chapter 3 – Forced Entry

• You must kill all five guards without them sounding the alarm. If they do sound the alarm, reload the chapter. A Longshot is recommended. Once all five guards are dead, a side door will open for you to enter. Go down the lower path to find the COG Tag.

Act 2: Chapter 6 – Airborne

• Once you killed the four reapers in Dizzy’s fort, go to the area across the street. You will see a destroyed building, and the COG Tag is on the second floor.

Act 3: Chapter 2 – Rescue

• While fighting the Lambent Berserker, the COG Tag is near the gate on the floor.

Act 3: Chapter 4 – Ghost Town

• As you try to track down the crazy guy, you will come across a Fresh Meat stand. At the backroom is a COG logo. Go outside the Fresh Meat stand to find the COG Tag covered in blood.

Act 4: Chapter 1 – Ashes To Ashes

• While you are chasing the Ash Man, he will drop a container full of Polyps. Once you kill the Polyps, Sam will suggest you check it out and enter the building. Before doing so, there is a COG logo on the far left building. The COG Tag is beside a dead soldier.

Act 4: Chapter 5 – Bon Voyage

• Before going to the Dockyard, look for the COG logo on one of the containers to your right. The best way to look for the COG logo is by going through the ship in the middle and looking to your right. The COG Tag is behind the COG logo.

Act 5: Chapter 2 – Black Out

• You must use the Silverback. Get into it before going up the lift. When you get off the lift, go to the room with 3′s marked on both sides. Once inside, you will see the COG logo. Kick down the barricade, and go inside to find the COG Tag.

Act 5: Chapter 3 – Shattered Paradise

• In the plaza area right after the white angel statue room, look in the right corner to see a COG logo. The COG Tag is near it on the ground by a dead body.

Act 5: Chapter 5 – Ascension

• Once you escape from Queen Myrah, you will be on your way to find Adam Fenix. To your right is a dead end area with video game machines. At the start of the room that is dark, use your highlight ability to show some wooden crates near a COG logo. Destroy them to find the COG Tag behind them.

• Respect for the Dead (5G) -Your respect for the dead earned you access to Griffin’s special weapons stash.In Act 4 chapter 1 (Ashes to Ashes) do not destroy (touch or shoot) any dead ashes people along the way to griffin’s building. It’s ok if it broke up by ashman traps or polyps explode.This is just after you get permission to see Griffin on your right side. The room is blocked by a barred fence. When you move close enough and have shown respect for the dead, the women in the room will open it for you. Inside are some good weapons.

Nintendo has already said much about their next console at E3 this year. They’ve mentioned the controller, the features and the games… but what about achievements? What would happen if the Wii U obtained achievements, what would they look and be like? We’re here to show you.

WiiChevo’s - (We-cheev-ohs)

Yup that’s right. The unofficial name for my Wii U achievement presentation. I could have just went with Wii Achievements, or Wii Trophies but that’s too easy. I’m going to take it a step further. I started with a name, but now I’m going to show you what it would be like if the Wii U had achievements. Could you imagine playing the next Zelda and when you reach a point in the game you see this?

Similar to the 360′s achievement system, you see a pop up message with the name of the WiiChevo and stars. Yes stars. Every time you think of Nintendo you think of one character. Mario, and Mario has a ridiculous, stupid amount of stars everywhere. So why not implement a star system? Each WiiChevo is tied to a number of stars, the maximum being 3 stars. As you progress through each Wii U game you can obtain a total of 50 stars per game, similar to how 360 has a maximum of 1000G per game. You’re probably thinking, “Why does this matter? Who’s going to see this?”. So, I present you with this. The Wii U…. err Mii U Gamer Card thingy.

Wii U, Mii U, Pee U, Card Thingy

This would be the card you could share with your friends online, Nintendo forums etc. You have your “Wii U Picture” in the top left, followed by the number of total stars you’ve earned across all Nintendo games. On the far right is your last 4 played games. Below that is a quote you can set to describe yourself, and at the bottom of course is your Wii U Tag, or whatever Nintendo plans to call it.  Now, of course one thing you do when browsing your collection of Achievements/Trophies is look at the nice little thumbnail picture it brings with each one. Since this entire article is about Wii U having achievements, I think it’s time I share a few that I’ve came up with myself.

What do you think? Could Nintendo really pull off some kind of achievement system for the Wii U?  More importantly would it make you play games just for WiiChevo’s?

Face it, people love these things. It’s an addiction. Gamers will buy the shittiest game on the planet just so they can complete it in a few hours to get 1000G.  If you’re the type of person who hates Achievements or Trophies, it’s possible you won’t have to worry with Nintendo, I’m just speculating, conceptualizing and having some fun.  Just don’t expect Microsoft or Sony to give up on these things so easily.

If you’ve been eagerly awaiting DLC for Dragon Age II, then we have some good news for you. A new set of achievements have been spotted for the game entitled “Legacy”.

There are 5 achievements in all, totaling 120 points.

• Conductor: Defeat an ancient evil in the Vimmark Mountains. – 30G
• Deep Roads Safari: Kill a genlock, genlock alpha, hurlock alpha, bronto, and deepstalker in the Vimmark Mountains. – 15G
• Family Legacy: Apply three effects to Hawke’s Key. – 30G
• Family Outing: Complete the main quest in the Vimmark Mountains with Bethany or Carver in the party. – 15G
• Tower Sweeper: Complete every side quest in the Vimmark Mountains prison tower. – 30G

If you have good timing and range, you can beat it. The AI can’t handle cross-over jumps.

• 1) Goro – You should focus on building your meter with Goro. He taunts a lot so you get a lot of free chances to do damage. Jump to avoid the Ground Pound he does and then counter.
• 2) Kintaro – Use your X-ray on Kintaro, but watch out because Kintaro has crazy air grabs, and fireballs that can mess you up. If he jumps up out of the screen, jump diagonally away.
• 3) Mileena – She has some crazy fast attacks; you’ll want to block and be aware of her quickness and try to find openings. Try to use X-ray on her and finish her quickly.
• 4) Shao Kahn – If you stay just out of range of this guy, you can beat him. As you can see, I whiff a lot with trying to use the spear and instead punch nothing but air. But my timing was on point, and I was practicing jumping circles around him.
