The Castlevania Movie Might Not Suck

Having made the only videogame movies that have so far been close to not sucking (those being the original Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil), Paul W. S. Anderson is also producing the upcoming Castlevania movie. The Internet was abuzz with early negativity based on the rumors that the movie would not feature the iconic whip or even a member of the Belmont clan. G4TV’s “Attack of the Show” Creates World’s Biggest Arcade Machine

If you’re like me, you miss the old arcade days, back before consoles became the powerful monsters they are today. Hanging out with friends at the local arcade consisted of playing Street Fighter, NBA Jam, and Mortal Kombat. Wasting time after school at the local pizza joint meant playing Pac-Man and racking up points in pinball. It’s hard to imagine what our youth would have been like without such classic arcade games.
