Shadowloo Showdown 2k11 Teaser Trailer Released

After a memorable and extremely successful Shadowloo Showdown 2k10, the awesome team over at the Shadowloo are preparing for round two and aiming to make the successor one of the biggest fighting events of the year and not just in Australia.

This first official teaser trailer shows the games that will be playable at the event, but more importantly it just gets me pumped to attend another awesome fighting event! Make sure to pencil in the 25th and 26th of June for a jam packed weekend of high caliber play and entertainment.

Do you feel like a mindless minion at work, slaving away for the glory of your overlord boss? Well, you may be able to get something for those months or years of drudgery. How does a PlayStation 3 sound?

Codemasters is searching for a real-life Overlord in a contest to promote the upcoming Overlord: Raising Hell for the PS3. The game arrives in Europe on June 20th and in North America on the 24th.

Codemasters is asking UK employees to anonymously send stories of their most bizarre boss experiences. Winners will get a copy of the Overlord: Raising Hell and yup, a PS3 to play it in. To enter, send in your entry to worst.boss@codemasters.com. The weirdest and funniest stories are printed on www.codemasters.co.uk/worstboss.

It’s a shame that this contest is only running in the UK, because a friend of mine can send his story of his wackjob ex-boss who would have acid flashbacks at work. He’d often assign people to do things then turn around and yell at them, wondering why they were doing them in the first place. I’m sure any of you can top that story though!

Shaky-Cam Confirms Balrog and Sagat in Upcoming SFIV

Hoooray for poor quality shaky-cam footage!

What’s the best way to reveal things? Official confirmation? Pffft… How about a random dude just busting out his handy portable camera to take terrible-quality footage of yet-to-be-revealed Street Fighter IV characters at the Taito center in the Akihabara district of Tokyo.

There are tons of guys walking through as this random dude tapes, but you get the vague idea.

According to video uploader RyukyuTwo, as it stands now Balrog is as close to Mike Tyson as we’re ever going to get and still wouldn’t be able to kick if his life depended on it. Our slim and slender Sagat still sports the iconic eye patch and is reportedly the final boss — you’re reward for taking him out is a “Thanks for playing!” screen.

The character models probably look something like this up close

Make sure to watch them quick before Capcom pounces and gets them removed. Either way, these characters can’t be too far from an official announcement.
