BBC News reports that a 42-year-old prisoner has escaped from his prison in Western Germany by means of… well, a cardboard box. His wherabouts is still unknown to the German authorities.

That’s right, a cardboard box! Something tells me this was the most inspired escape from prison, ever. I’m sure Solid Snake would be proud of this guy, managing to pull off the funniest method of stealth there is and actually escape from prison while he’s at it! There’s nothing to be promoted about criminals, and this guy needs to be found, but my oh my, he should at least get a pat on the back for services to espionage.

Actual MGS4 PS3 bundle box art (what could have been shown below)

After seeing the official box art revealed earlier today, I thought long and hard about comments made regarding its appearance. One in particular stated that it may have been a better idea to make the bundle look more like the infamous box found in the Metal Gear Solid game itself. You know — the one with the words “the orange” plastered on the outside. So I busted out my trusty Photoshop application and went to work.

Below is my rendition of what the box may have looked like had this idea been put into action. Honestly, I think it looks pretty cool and would make a nice collectors item some day. What do you think? Could you see the majority of customers understanding what the hell this thing is?
