Fable II is one of those games that some people have been waiting for even before the original was released. Fable II Co-op Available on Day 1; New Trailer
by Dan Landis on October 9, 2008

After lauding Fable II’s cooperative gameplay as the best thing since whatever was previously the best thing (witty, right?), developer Lionhead went and pissed everyone off when they announced that it would not be available when the game released. Instead, people were expected to wait another week and download a patch that would implement the online co-op mode.
Earlier today, however, Lionhead announced on their community blog that co-op would be available on day one, but it will still be in patch form. Huh? Isn’t there enough room on the disc for that extra 983KB of code? Anyway, this is good news for me since I’m planning on killing my brother’s family ASAP– err, I mean I’m looking forward to conquering evil with him.
A new Fable II TV commercial is also available, so you can click through if you’re interested in watching it. Kinda neat. Read more…

This rumor is like one of those things that you heard from a friend who heard it from their friend who heard if from their cousin, but it’s too juicy not to share. According to a Gamespot article, Mass Effect 2 is going to feature a five-man squad, along with five player co-op. Read more…
Xbox 360 Review: Too Human (Too Hyped)
by John Landis on August 22, 2008
Editors Note: In the process of reevaluating our review standards, the Ripten editorial team has agreed upon a no syndication policy for any review (past, present, or future) indexed in the Ripten catalog. In light of this, we have replaced the previous syndicated review with the exclusive Ripten review below. Thank you.

Too Human is one of those mythical games that just didn’t seem like it was going to see the light of day — the Duke Nukem of video games, if you will. Because it was in some sort of stage of development since Denis Dyack was in the womb, you know, I expected a lot.
The unfortunate downside of lots of anticipation is that most of the time things just don’t deliver what you’d imagined — this is one of those times. That’s not to say that it’s necessarily bad (it was indeed quite a jolly good time, ol’ chap), it’s just not up to the level that it had built up in its four generations of development. Read more…
GDC 08: Prototype – Open World, Open Wounds
by Dan Landis on February 25, 2008
Prototype is what Crackdown would be if you were a bad-ass instead of a superhero. Crunching cars beneath your feet, running up buildings, literally smashing peoples’ heads into the ground, and absorbing dead bodies into your own — just some of the things you will be doing as Prototype’s main anti-hero, Alex Mercer. Fable 2 Co-op Officially Revealed, Heart-Strings Pulled
by Dan Landis on February 20, 2008

A few minutes ago at the Microsoft keynote, Peter Molyneux officially showed off the online co-op of the upcoming Fable 2.
Unfortunately for him, however, his in-game friend happened to murder Peter’s wife right in front of him. Oh yeah, Peter Molyneux is a red-headed chick with some nice boobs, which came as quite a shock to me. He looks much different on camera. Read more…
