Capcom offering Xbox 360 Platinum Hits Triple Pack

by Rangebar Merani on August 11, 2009 at 6:30 pm

If your one of the unlucky gamers who missed out on any of these three great games, well, your luck is about to turn around. Capcom is repackaging three of their Xbox 360 platinum hits into one huge, cheap-ass bundle. Exciting, I know.

You’ll be getting Dead Rising, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Colonies Edition and Devil May Cry 4 all in one box! And the best thing about the package is that it’s dirt cheap. Yep, just $39.99 for all three games. Now at about $13.33 for each game, you can’t beat that.

Capcom is calling it the Platinum Hits Triple Pack, set to hit the Xbox 360 in September. If you missed any of the games, now is your chance to get all three in a great deal. Thanks Capcom!

Dead Space heading to Wii

by Sam Naylor on February 4, 2009 at 9:06 am

Destructoid reports that Dead Space is heading to Nintendo’s box o’ fun. EA CEO John Riccitiello announced that EA are hoping to “bring a lot of core intellectual property to the Wii”- if you strip away the PR speak, this means we’ll start to see titles like Dead Space and Mirror’s Edge coming to the Wii in the future. Good news for those who only own a Wii but still want to experience these titles.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, although perhaps less graphically good than the other iterations, was a triumph on the platform, thanks to the great use of the Wii Remote controls. I see no reason why Dead Space, being so similar to RE4, cannot do the same. Obviously the visuals will take a huge hit, but let’s hope it doesn’t get hit in the balls like Dead Rising did on it’s way to the Wii.

Rumour: New Dead Rising and Lost Planet will be multiplatform

by Sam Naylor on January 28, 2009 at 8:55 am

Capcom executive Keiji Inafune has mentioned in the newest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu that “We’re finally putting out new Dead Rising and Lost Planet games! As a main principle we’re thinking about multi-platform, and expanding upon both slightly from the Xbox 360 version.” That’s a pretty strong hint towards both games being multi-platform; not to mention that most of Capcom’s games are multi-platform now.

Dead Rising is a game I’ve been wanting to play since it was released, so I’m certainly hoping for a PS3 version. I enjoyed the Lost Planet demo, too (although the full game is either nowhere to be found or way overpriced), so this is good news all round.

Left 4 Dead Achievement Pokes Fun At Dead Rising

by Chelsea Thompson on October 31, 2008 at 10:05 am

Left 4 Dead surprises me everyday with the amount of sheer awesome that’s being generated by the game’s hype machine. If you kill every zombie in the infected town of Willamete, you get an achievement. Doesn’t sound so bad, right? I mean, when the zombie apocalypse comes around that’s kind of the plan. You know, to kill everyone. Want to know more? Of course you do. Read more…

Dead Rising, the popular zombie infested action video game published by Capcom is rumored to be in development for the PC. In addition, there also appears to be a new update on the way for Lost Planet, another Capcom tittle, titled “Colonies”. The information makes its way on to the net due to a supposed slip by Halifax, the Capcom distributor in Italy. Read more…
