Ubisoft have today announced that their upcoming titles Splinter Cell: Conviction and R.U.S.E. will be delayed past their previously set release dates. It looks like we won’t get to play as the new filthy, bald, beer-bellied Max Payne for a good long while, as the game’s been pushed back again.

With a lot of heavy hitters – ok, with Modern Warfare 2 coming this November, a lot of big titles were pushed back to 2010 to avoid the competition. According to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, those titles could get pushed back even further.
