Rumor: No GTA IV DLC Until “January or February” 2009

Rumors sprouted earlier this week than GTA IV’s 360-exclusive downloadable content would be ready for release this November, but now the ever-churning rumor mill is telling us that it won’t be ready until January or Feburary next year.
Citing a “source close to Rockstar,” VG247 is reporting that Microsoft is “wrong” to expect anything before winter next year. Their source reportedly said:
It’ll be in January or February
Snow might be falling when we finally get our hands on any new adventures in Liberty City.

Niko Bellic May Not Play Role in GTA IV DLC

If you’ve played through every track on Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, there are now some fresh tunes courtesy of Interscope Records.
The Interscope Track Pack offers up three new songs: Flyleaf’s “Tina,” “Carcinogen Crush” by AFI, and a remix of goth rocker Marilyn Manson’s “Putting Holes in Happiness,” a la Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
The tracks are now available on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Store.
Rumor: Metal Gear Super Surprise in December

Word on the street is that a super secret special surprise awaits players that have completed Metal Gear Solid 4. Rumor has it that something will unlock in the game come this December. If you’ve beaten the game, you’ll know the relevance of the six-month time frame (no spoilers here, sorry). Kojima has supposedly said that people who pirate the game will miss out on “something special” which further fuels the idea since pirated copies don’t necessarily sync well with PSN. Take-Two Say GTA DLC Delayed, Microsoft in Denial, or Not
