If you were dying of cancer and the Make a Wish foundation could grant you one wish, what would it be?

Well, if you were a huge Gears of War fan obviously it would be to meet Dominic Santiago in real life! Ain’t that right, bitches?!

Luckily, Carlos Ferro, the voice of Dom was kind enough to get suited up and equip a lancer to make this kid’s wish come true!

Gears of War 3 Opening Cinematic Hits the Web Hard

Besides just celebrating that Gears of War 3 had gone gold with cake, the folks at Epic have also released the opening cinematic for the game. Now I’m not 100% sure that this will be actual opening cinematic for the game, but it looks likely. Humanity is entrenched in war, Dom is still pissed about his wife, and there’s some fine ladies added to the mix.

The cinematic is entitled “We’re All Stranded Now;” truer words have never been spoken. Enjoy the video and get ready to win the war September 20th.

So yeah, I was bored and the lack of news coming over the wire convinced me to pop open Adobe Photoshop and mess around for a while. One thing lead to another, and a few hours later I ended up with my own little Gears of War Movie poster. Dan Landis added his two cents on the casting over Skype.

Yes, we know that Kilmer is currently a bit on the heavy side, and Batista may not be the best actor on the face of the planet, but we figured what the fuck — they sure as hell look the part. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Lester “Terry Tate” Speight were obvious choices. To be perfectly clear, the Gears of War movie has NOT been officially cast yet, these are merely our “shooting the shit” selections.
