Richard Garriott, aka Lord/General British, aka spaceman extraordinaire, has done a lot of great things in his life, exiting the Earth’s orbit notwithstanding. The Ultima games are landmark Western RPGs, and if it weren’t for Ultima Online you wouldn’t be playing World of Warcraft today.

Tabula Rasa, though, doesn’t really stand as much of a testament to the fellow. That’s not just my opinion - it’s Amazon.com’s as well. Previously listed as $4.99, it now costs a paltry $0.96. This is no database error - it’s been at that price for a few days now.

I didn’t play TR, but I heard it was pretty dang awful. It presumably still comes with 30 days of free subsriciption - but is it still even worth it when you’re paying more for shipping than you are the game itself? Sound off if you’ve played this thing, and let us know if it’s worth 100 of our precious pennies.

Earlier this week it was announced that 155 Circuit City stores were being shut down due to credit concerns and financial problems from the electronics retailer.

Well, according to Kotaku, the 155 closing stores are placing discount tags on pretty much everything, including video games. Here are the discounts for today:

• Systems (360, PS3, Wii, DS, PSP) and their respective games - 5% off
• All game accessories (controllers, batteries, cases, Xbox Live memberships, etc) - 10% off
• “Social” games (aka Rockband and Guitar Hero) - 10% off
• PC Games - 10% off
• Strategy guides and cheat books - 20% off
