Chains of Olympus Manual Teases God of War III

Sony may be accused of a lot of things, but one thing they can not be accused of is being inconsistent. Just as God of War: Chains of Olympus was teased on the back of God of War II’s manual; Sony is perpetuating this trend by doing the same thing with God of War III. Sony’s subdued presence at GDC this year may have convinced many gamers that they’d have to wait a bit longer for information on some of the company’s upcoming plans and software. It turns out the wait was not long.
Today at Destination PlayStation—a PlayStation-retailer-3rd party event currently underway in Arizona—Sony announced some big news: A Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots PS3 bundle, Metal Gear Online beta test, God of War: Chains of Olympus red PSP pack and the North American release date for the DUALSHOCK 3 controller. GDC 08: Sony Shows Off Patapon, God of War PSP, and Echochrome

Sony had a rather comfy-looking booth on the GDC show floor, with large 1080p screens and leather couches, perfect for sitting around and playing Devil May Cry 4 or Echochrome. Behind these were rows of PSPs with God of War: Chains of Olympus, and the charming surprise Patapon. Read more…
