Killzone 3 Leaked Onto Torrent Websites

Just days ago, Crysis 2 was leaked onto the internet and to no surprise people went fucking bananas. Well prepare some more yellow skinned fruit, as the full Killzone 3 image has been leaked onto various torrent sites throughout the web. Weighing in at a whopping 41.4GB, these damn pirates better have mass bandwidth to spare. Though it’s only leaked 8 days before the official release, and not a month like Crysis 2, it’s still unpleasant to hear about. Our thoughts are with the fine folks at Guerrilla and of course Sony. As of right now, there’s no official word on who caused the leak, but make sure you stick around RipTen as we’ll post more as we discover it.

Killzone 3 Teaser Trailer Released, Final Shot Hints At Playable Helghast

The Killzone 3 trailer has just been released by Sony and Guerrilla. In it, you’ll lay witness to a slow and steady Helghast beat down by the game’s protagonist, Sergeant First Class Tomas “Sev” Sevchenko. And once the final body hits the pile of corpses that fell before it, the camera pulls in close for a shot of Sev’s face as he puts on the iconic Helghast helmet.

Sony Officially Announces Killzone 3, Stereoscopic 3D Gaming With Jet Packs

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has issued a press release today, solidifying what most of us already knew. Killzone 3 is officially on the clock, and the latest iteration is primed to deliver a Stereoscopic 3D gaming experience.

As far as the story goes, the third installment of the franchise picks up where the sequel left off, and according to SCEE Content Producer, James Gallagher (who recently visited the team at Guerrilla Games for some hands-on Killzone 3 access), it’s a “much grander experience in terms of scale and ambition” with “more variety, more enemy types, massive environments and a broader vision of the planet Helghan and its many terrains.”

New gameplay elements include objects like “jet packs”, which Gallagher compares to an “exaggerated jump” ability. He goes on to mention the possibility of “platforming and aerial combat.”
