Tonight’s X-Play Interviews Miyamoto and Debuts the US Killzone 2 Trailer

Want a reason to dip into your trick-or-treater stash before the little buggers start taking it all? The scarily good X-Play line up tonight is the perfect excuse. Adam and company will be interviewing gaming icon, Shigeru Miyamoto, as well as debuting the US trailer for Killzone 2 on the PlayStation 3.
Airing tonight will be the first part of a two part interview with Miyamoto, where the legendary creator shares his thoughts on Wii Music and his love of music in general.

With all the buzz around LittleBigPlanet, we didn’t want to forget another of Sony’s big games at E3, Killzone 2.
The highly anticipated and long-awaited first-person shooter was definitely one of the best looking games I checked out at E3. Now I know why the game has been in development for over four years.
With the power of the PS3 and Guerrilla Game’s propriety engine, Killzone 2 looks incredible, and is almost up to par with that infamous trailer shown back at E3 2005. Read more…

BBC Blunder - Killzone 2 Footage Spliced Into Halo 3 Segment On BBC News 24

How on earth does this happen by mistake? Answer, it doesn’t — and if it does someone should be made to answer. Yes, it is funny, but from a marketing stand point it is free publicity for Killzone 2, and one can only imagine that Microsoft is not happy about it. And from the other side of the fence, fans of Killzone 2 are probably upset that their graphics are being used to falsely promote Halo 3.
