Nintendo have finally announced the European release date for Kirby’s Epic Yarn: February 25.
These days everyone is talking about Nintendo’s next handheld, the Nintendo 3DS, and forgetting about the classic Nintendo DS. Yes, the Nintendo 3DS’s big release may be just around the corner, but the Nintendo DS isn’t going to die the day it comes out.
Nintendo has just shown off two new games for their traditional Nintendo DS hardware. The first game is a new entry in the famous Kirby franchise.
While I can’t speak or read Japanese, the universal message of this new trailer released by Nintendo of Japan is clear: Kirby is cute…sickingly so.
Looks like the Prince took a roll through the Mushroom Kingdom! And Hyrule. And the world of Pokemon. And Metroid. There’s even a Tetris block in there!
My job, obviously, is to argue that Nintendo “won” E3 2010. Not only have Nintendo conquered the minds of the casual market, but they appear to have won back the minds of the hardcore market, too.
