Like any great RPG, Dragon Age 2 has a plethora of great weapons and shields. Each weapon has its own unique stats and location where it can be found. This guide will give every DA2 weapon’s stats and location.

Rift To Begin Open Beta February 15th

Rift, the new MMORPG by Trion Worlds, is set to start its open beta February 15th. The game’s four classes, Warrior, Cleric, Rogue, Mage, would make any Dungeon Master proud.

The event lasts for 6 days ending on February 21st. Those interested (it is free so you should be) can sign up here.

Rift is slated to hit shelves this March.

Anders The Snarky Mage Returns In Dragon Age II

When the loveable Alistair was no longer available to accompany our heroes at the conclusion of Dragon Age: Origins – our respective role playing parties all died a little inside. Who would provide the comic relief? The sarcastic wit? That “je ne sais quoi” that made him a household name amongst RPGamers!? Luckily, Bioware soon bestowed Anders the Mage upon us in Dragon Age Origins: Awakening . Even luckier for us all – he was pretty much a carbon copy of Alistair with robes and a staff.

Well, Bioware and EA have revealed via yet another GameInformer exclusive that everyone’s favorite snarkastic mage companion will indeed be returning for Dragon Age II!! So you can expect all the wit, the one liners, the bravado, the machismo, and of course his interactions with Ser Pounce-a-lot!

According to GI:

New protagonist Hawke first encounters the mage in the slums of the city of Kirkwall, where Anders has taken up a life of healing refugees from the Blight. Hawke needs the former Grey Warden’s help, and Anders is willing to oblige in return for a favor.

So, there you have it. If you were on the fence about Dragon Age II before, at least take comfort in knowing one part of the game can not possibly suck. Long live Anders the Apostate!!
