Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world’s first bionic man. But I don’t want to spend a lot of money, so let’s make him 8-bit.

While I still don’t think he holds a candle to Mega Man himself (or Mr. Enrique Iglesias for that matter), this picture of Zero is certainly a start. Perhaps it’s time to give this sword-swingin’, ponytail-sportin’ second starter a second chance.

While we here in the states refer to the Blue Bomber as Mega Man, it seems only right to refer to him by his Japanese moniker, Rockman, as it’s also plastered in the background of this very awesome realistic take on Rockman and his robotic foes.

Is there a greater sound effect than “pew?” If there is, I’m sure not aware of it, and some people call me the sound effect librarian, because of my vast knowledge of sound effects. Also, who doesn’t love Mega Man?

Let’s be honest: whenever you play a Mega Man game, you’re thinking how delicious he looks, right? Well, that’s apparently what one candy maker at the Tokyo Game Show is betting on.
