With the new MLB season now fully up and running, Nintendo announced yesterday a new sports game for their upcoming Wii line-up. Mario Super Sluggers is a baseball game featuring the weird and wonderful characters of the Nintendo universe, due for release sometime later this year in the US, and this is another title sure to get Wii owners excited. Buy it some peanuts and cracker jacks, or better yet: let it buy them for you. Engadget keyed us in to the new Nintendo Fan Network being tested first at Safeco Field, the home stadium of the Seattle Mariners. Beyond just ordering food for delivery straight to your seat, those who download the program at the park for five dollars per game (or the discount bundle of ten games for thirty dollars) will have access to a live TV feed, stats, and even a trivia mini-game.
