Report from Famitsu that the sequel to Dynasty Warriors Gundam, cleverly titled Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 or Gundam Musou 2 in Japan is getting five new scenarios to download on February 12th.  One is even themed!

Four of these new scenarios seem pretty standard, save the world type stuff but therei s one that really stands out.  Apparently the evil forces have stolen chocolate, yeah chocolate.  In a real war time Chocolate is a big deal, and this is a war during Valentines so you know chocolate is important on a whole other level.

Being the big hero you are, you have to go out and get the chocolate back from those bad guys.  According to the screenshot posted above apparently they are carrying most the chocolate inside their own mobile suits.  I know when I steal something as important as chocolate I don’t put it on freight ships to be taken far away from battle.  I keep it right in the fray were it is most needed….

I am not completetly sure but I don’t think this is out stateside yet, but I do hope you guys get these missions if/when it does release because there is no thrill like that of getting chocolate back for that mobile suit loved one.

The content will be available on the PS3 and Xbox360 but not PS2 (sorry guys).

Reading the video game news this morning before work, and it seems Monster Hunter 2nd G, one of the PSP’s best selling games in Japan, is getting a new monster today at around one in the afternoon.

Famijutsu has a short blurb about it which basically states:

“Capcom’s PSP software Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G is getting a new downloadable quest.  What’s inside is two Raajian at the same time!  The quest comes out on October 30th, 2008 at 1pm.”

A caption below the picture reads “Can this quest be cleared solo?”

A new Halo Wars trailer has popped up out of New Zealand. I think I heard something somewhere about this whole “Halo” business, so I thought maybe somebody might be interested in watching it. We’ve plopped it here on our site just for those few.

Famitsu has just unveiled yet another one of the new characters in the upcoming Street Fighter IV. His name — Abel. His game — amnesia?

Like previous contenders, Abel is fighting for unknown reasons. How creative and not at all clichéd! His fighting style is like a more mobile Zangeif — lots of grapples and throws, but with some nice martial arts kicks (supposedly more “balanced and aligned” than Zangeif’s slow ass).

Hopefully we’ll see some more new characters soon, possibly at GDC. I’m quite interested to check out all of the new female fighters they said they were concentrating on.
