<p>Activision has just released a montage video of sorts, jam packed with bits and pieces of Modern Warfare 2 trailers and footage dating back to it&#8217;s initial announcement and teaser.</p>
<p>Though mostly a five minute long rehash of previously seen footage, it seems to also confirm the existence of cinematic version of the terrorist airport level. If true, this&#8217;s a great move by Infinity Ward, as it would allow those gamers who choose pass on the opportunity of playing it out first hand a means to still experience the plot element.</p>
<p>See for yourself at the 52 and 1:40 second marks in the trailer below.<span id="more-12467"></span></p>
<p><object id="gtembed" classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="510" height="418" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="src" value="http://www.gametrailers.com/remote_wrap.php?mid=58630" /><param name="name" value="gtembed" /><param name="align" value="middle" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><embed id="gtembed" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="510" height="418" src="http://www.gametrailers.com/remote_wrap.php?mid=58630" align="middle" name="gtembed" quality="high" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="sameDomain"></embed></object></p>
<p>What do you think? Does that look like a cinematic version of the level or should I put the pipe down? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.<!-- adman --></p>

<p>Good news PS3 owners.  Your Hard-drive won&#8217;t be accosted by Darth Vader.  Soul Calibur IV&#8217;s install is not a massive 6.7GB and it may not be mandatory either&#8230;<span id="more-5500"></span></p>
<p>At the beginning of the month a <a href="http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=11787923&amp;postcount=1" target="_blank">keen Neogaffer</a> spotted that the PS3 version of Soul Calibur IV was to sport a mandatory 6.7GB install and 2GB save files.  This was especially surprising, since it was my impression that Sony&#8217;s imposed install limit was 5GB&#8217;s.  Moreover, I remain under the opinion that game&#8217;s needn&#8217;t use an install over 2GB, if at all.</p>
<p>There was another amusing discovery that brought credence to Soul Calibur IV having an install fetish.  <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/s/soulcalibur4/" target="_blank">Xbox.com</a> listed the game as requiring a HDD. This has since been <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/s/soulcalibur4/" target="_blank">corrected</a>, unlike <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/a/aloneinthedark/" target="_blank">Alone in the Dark&#8217;s web-page.</a><!-- adman --></p>
<p>Thankfully, the PS3 install size has been <a href="http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/07/09/soulcalibur-iv-hd-install-size-2-85gb-with-2mb-saves/" target="_blank">confirmed</a> to have shrunk to 2.85GB&#8217;s, with save files at a more believable 2MB (though this will increase when you create your own characters).  It was still presumed that the install was mandatory, but <a href="http://www.videogaming247.com/2008/07/09/soul-calibur-iv-ps3-install-is-optional-on-uk-code/" target="_blank">Videogaming247</a> is reporting that at least the UK version&#8217;s install is  optional.  Phew.</p>
