New Game Releases: 9/1-9/7

by Rangebar Merani on September 1, 2008 at 12:21 pm

Labor Day week officially starts off the fall gaming season with some high anticipated releases such as FaceBreaker, Infinite Undiscovery, Mercenaries 2 and, of course, Wiil Wright’s Spore. Preview: Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball

by Andrew Podolsky on December 6, 2007 at 2:28 pm

pvnd_beach_5-titlecopy.jpg It’s a cheeky sports game based on an Internet meme, but it’s no Chuck Norris’ Punch-Out or Admiral Ackbar’s “It’s a Lap!” kart racer. Instead, we tossed around a red rubber ball for a bit with Pirates vs. Ninja Dodgeball — an attractive but simplistic party game for Xbox Live Arcade. Read more…

The Internet has put in some long hard hours on the issue, but Blazing Lizard’s first game promises to solve it once and for all—Pirates or Ninjas? Yes, Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball should do the trick. But how exciting can dodgeball get? Read more…
