I am absolutely in love with this fucking game. Did I just type that out loud? Oh well. Ubisoft has released a new seven minute video walkthrough and several new in-game screens available after the jump. If you enjoy them as much as I did you may need to take a short nap afterwords.

Ripten’s own Michael Geslani is down in San Diego for Comic-Con 2008, where Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner discussed the upcoming film adaptation during a panel. Read all about it after the break.

Prince of Persia “Next-Gen” debuted with a splash in the CG pond, failing to excite those who had already spied beautiful screenshots of the game’s cell-shaded art style.  Now we can experience the first in-game footage of Ubisoft’s new Prince of Persia, backed by the beautiful sounds of Sigur Ros.

The scores are in and it looks like Ubisoft is makin’ the big bucks. The number crunchers over at the Ubisoft have released their figures for Q3 2007-2008, and Ubisoft is up 44.4%.

There have been smidgens of review scores from PSM3′s Christmas Edition, but not so much has been seen of the news section in the magazine. And oh, there are a bunch of treats held within its pages. There’s news on Resistance 2, as well as next-gen outings of Hitman, Prince of Persia, and Syphon Filter. [...]

Assassin’s Creed is one of the few “next-gen” games we’ll be experiencing this year – whatever that means, seems to be the buzz word these days. Coming from the makers of the classic Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, it has lofty expectations to live up to.
