Klonoa’s Westernized Redesign Makes Me Cry

Back in 2002, I first played Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil when my neighbor found a copy in the bargain bin at GameStop. We spent hours on end trying to get to the end of the game before dinnertime, and never actually did. But without a doubt, I can say that parts of the Klonoa series rank amongst my favorite games I’ve ever played- which is why it pains me to report that Klonoa’s return on the Wii may see Klonoa’s redesign. PS2 Version 4 Is Coming October 2008

It was released in Japan last November; now the fourth version of PS2 is coming to Europe and India. That’s according to SCE India country manager Atindriya Bose, who claims it will launch simultaneously in the two regions at some point before this year’s Diwali festival on 28 October. Read more…

Nintendo Tentatively Denies All DS Lite Redesign Rumors

Rumors surfaced this week that Nintendo had an even lighter DS Lite on the way. Evan Wilson, an analyst at Pacific Crest Securities, got word that a redesign is actually already done, and Nintendo’s just waiting around for DS Lite sales to slow a little bit (looking like 2010 then!).
