Resident Evil 5 PC coming September, is all 3D and that
by Sam Naylor on July 16, 2009 at 9:09 am
The PC version of Capcom’s successful zombie shooter Resident Evil 5 will be coming to American audiences on September 14, and to European ones a few days later on the 18th, Capcom announced today. The game is even more bursting at the seams than the console versions: it includes a new and improved Mercenaries mode with three times more enemies, new costumes, higher resolutions, and support for NVidia’s 3D cards.
This of course means that, provided you have some silly glasses and are rich enough to have a card, you can play Resident Evil 5 as if you were at a tiny IMAX screen! You can download a benchmark tool here to see what it’s like, and if it will run on your system.

I’ve only played part of its predecessor, but being the Resident Evil whore that I am, I’m excited about this nonetheless. One day I will I go back and play them all, like I’m collecting Pokemon.

Hot off the release of Street Fighter IV and just weeks before Resident Evil 5 comes out, Capcom is ready to announce a new game in the form of a trailer through the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. The announcement will come sometime in the evening of Monday, February 23. No further details have been released.
What could it be? A brand new IP? Another sequel to one of their famous games? How about a new game for the Xbox LIVE Arcade? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
