THQ and Violition have demoed one of the single player missions from their upcoming title, Saints Row: The Third.

Gamestop has listed a new special edition “2-Pack” version of the first two Saints Row games and an MSRP of $19.99.

THQ have announced today that Saints Row 3 will be released in Autumn. Did you know that our game of the year in 2008 was Saint’s Row 2? Well, now you do.

There has been a lot of Saints Row news over the past week or so, which is weird, since most of the world had forgotten Saints Row existed. But it does, and it’s back in full force. Not only with a third game in the series, but a secondary title called Saints Row: Drive By, which is coming to Xbox Live Arcade and the Nintendo 3DS.

Recently, THQ bigwigs confirmed that there would be a Saints Row crossmedia blowout that would include collectible cards, books, merchandise (presumably oven mitts, lunch boxes, stuffed animals, underwear) but up until the week of E3, the prospect of a film was just a rumor. Not anymore.

While nothing official has been announced, it looks like Swedish Heavy Metal band Opeth may have spilled the beans on an upcoming Saints Row PSP game.

The above slide, noticed by GameSpot, was displayed by THQ at an investor’s meeting in February. As you can see, it makes mention of sequels in plenty of franchises, notably Saints Row 3 and Red Faction 4, as well as info on the release of a Warhammer 40,000 MMO in fiscal 2012 (April 1, 2011- [...]
