Lips Tracklist Unveiled

Microsoft has revealed the full tracklist (sans DLC) for it’s upcoming singing game Lips. The game ships with two wireless microphones, because people don’t already have enough plastic band equipment.
The tracklist on disc features 40 songs, but when you factor in that compatible MP3 players can stream almost any song to the game, you get possibly the best singing game since SingStar. Microsoft also maintains that there will be “a regular flow of downloadable content.”

SingSterling Charity Is Now Live!

Chelsea here, posting a bit of news for John, who currently has his hands full with SingSterling. What is SingSterling? Why, it is Destructoid editor Jim Sterling’s 24-hour SingStar sing-a-thon for charity of course!
Right now Jim has only raised about half of the amount he’s aiming for, so he’ll only be singing for 12 hours. However, if the full $5,000 is raised before the end of the 12 hours, he’ll not only keep singing for the full 24 but also complete his singing marathon with Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up.” Read more…

Harmonix, Neversoft, Konami, and Activision have all signed an agreement with Microsoft and Sony that guaranteed that all of the new peripherals coming out for the newest batch of music games would all be compatible with each other. Read more…
