There you have it. E3 is over and here is the list of all the swag I got for the “win my swag” contest:
- Bottle Nuka-Cola and a pretty sick Fallout 3 viewfinder (courtesy of Bethesda)
- Legendary comic book (courtesy of Spark Unlimited)
- Gamecock socks, Gamecock shirt, and Gamecock bottle opener.
- Full version of Spore Creature Creator and EA Notebook (courtesy of EA)
- Microsoft Xbox 360 laptop skins (courtesy of Microsoft)
- X-Blades poster (courtesy of SouthPeak Interactive)
- Left4Dead breath mints (courtesy of Valve)
- Tecmo Bowl foam finger (courtesy of Tecmo)
- a few other pins and posters.
The winner of the contest will be announced tomorrow, so check back then, because I have to get rid of this stuff before my girlfriend sees the mess I made.
E3 08 “Win All My Free Shit” Contest
by Chad Lakkis on July 12, 2008

It seems that events like GDC and E3 bring out the giving nature of PR companies, unfortunately I have very little interest in swag. A few months ago at GDC I had good old Dan Landis to unload my swag on, but due to Dan’s wife selfishly deciding to crank out a baby a few days ago, Dan will not be able to attend E3 with us this year.
So, as I drove home from Taco Bell about an hour ago, I decided that I would give all the free shit I get this year to a reader instead. If you are asking yourself, what is this shit you speak of Chad? Well, that’s the thing, I have no idea what the hell it’ll be until I get my hands on it. One thing’s for sure though, whatever I get will be passed on directly to you. Bags, key chains, stickers, booth babe underwear - it can all be yours.
To enter, just leave a comment below stating something you would like me to try and get. Of course, there is no guarantee I will get it, but I am open to suggestions. One commenter will be selected randomly. We will then email that person to get their mailing address and all that good stuff. Contest will close midnight PST on Friday the 18th.
Alright then, looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with.
