by Wade Larson on August 31, 2008

PAX 08 is rocking gamers with plenty of hands-on demos on the show floor, as Fall’s big-name titles make the rounds for their adoring public. Gamers queued up to get their greedy claws on Gears 2, Left 4 Dead, StarCraft II, and many others.
But one of the surprising hits of the floor was Red Faction: Guerrilla. It doesn’t take long to realize why the game has been in development for four-and-a-half years: the destructibility of the environments is complete. Read more…
Impressions: Red Faction 3 Multiplayer Beta
by Demi Adejuyigbe on August 12, 2008

As the second sequel to 2001’s winner of the “Most Popular Shooter Developed By THQ with the Initials R.F.” award, Red Faction 3, formally known to the masses as Red Faction: Guerrilla, has quite a legacy to stand up to- a legacy full of Geo-Mod physics, taco-phone ports, moon hammers, and the world’s least lucid storyline.
A few days ago (August 9th, to be exact) FilePlanet dropped the Red Faction: Guerrilla multiplayer beta out for public consumption, and I was lucky enough to get some hands on time with THQ & Volition’s latest space-base shooter. Hit the jump for my impressions. Read more…

by Jonathan Zungre on November 5, 2007

And it came to pass that Conan the Cimmerian smote the No-Pants-Goblins.

For the last time, I’m not happy to be here, this smile is sewn on!
Two days is the amount of time we’ve spent here at E for All and frankly, that is more than enough time to view and play all the games at this expo. by Chad Lakkis on May 26, 2007

E3, also known as “min-E3″, is being held this year from July 11th to the 13th at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA. Anyone who is familiar with the E3 of old knows that the new “min-E3″ pales in comparison to the event held in years past, that said … it is still better than nothing.
A schedule of events was released by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) for the show on the official E3 website.
Getting the ball rolling this year will be Microsoft with a “pre-E3 conference” at 8:30pm on July 10th. Next up will be Nintendo, offering up a tasty batch wii goodness, with a conference at Read more…
