Wasdie, a member of the Steam Forums, has created a tool for players to tinker with Crysis 2′s graphics options on the PC.

In response to the lack of graphics options that Crysis 2 has, I’ve decided to write my own application that does it. A lot of basic stuff is there as well as some AA settings, motion blur settings, and some control settings.

The download links to the tool can be found on the forum post here if you’re interested in actually setting the graphics options like you would in, oh, virtually every other PC game.

Bethesda have confirmed the existence of modding tools for their upcoming Elder Scrolls game, Skyrim.

In a post on the Bethesda forums (via this tweet from Nick Breckon) it was confirmed that the company plans to release a modding “Creation Kit”.

“Do you think the ‘Kit’ refers to a Construction Set analogue, thus enabling moddability of Skyrim?”

Yes it does. We’ve always been impressed with what the community has done with our tools. Like the Elder Scrolls Construction Set for Morrowind and Oblivion, we plan to release Creation Kit so you guys can mod Skyrim :celebration:

Expect to see a nude mod within about 50 seconds of the Kit’s release.

Activision announced today that Sting and Tool will be added to the lineup for Guitar Hero World Tour. In addition to their music, Sting will be contributing his voice and likeness to an in-game character, and Tool will be adding their creative input on the design of a new venue.

This is a nice step forward by Activision. The announcements of new tracks can get a bit old, but the addition of twists like this definitely help in my opinion.
