Let’s face it, most games that are based on movies… suck. However, when it comes to bucking that trend, the Transformers do it as only they can, big, bold and bad ass.

Transformers: War for Cybertron was a surprisingly good game. It received rave reviews all across the board, and even RipTen’s Gavin Bard gave it a 9, and that boy knows a good game when he sees one…

Yesterday, Activision held an investors conference call, where the company revealed some of their plans for 2011.

Activision catches us by surprise with new Transformers: War for Cybertron DLC. This second pack includes the addtion of new playable transformers Zeta Prime, Dead End and five new multiplayer maps.

Despite the success of War for Cybertron, it would appear that the next video game outing of the Transformers is destined for another galaxy: Asia.

Of course none of us can predict with absolute certainty that anything in life will be great prior to its “moment of truth.” That said it’s still funny to see the price people will pay to be a part of something even remotely exclusive after they realize they like it. And that’s exactly …
