Hey look up there! It’s me; I’m so famous! I’m in this band called Your Favorite Constellation, you’ve probably heard of us. No? Probably because we’re not a real band, just a Rock Band…band. But if I chose, I could make myself into an collectible figure, which obviously means I’m famous.

Circuit City Prices Rock Band 2 at $9999 with a HUGE Discount
by Demi Adejuyigbe on September 15, 2008
If you’ve been paying close attention, you’ve probably noticed that I haven’t posted here in a while. (You haven’t? Ah well.) But put down your pitchforks, because I have a legitimate excuse, my friends. I have been spending time digging through couches, panhandling the Texas freeways, and even turning tricks outside of the local 7-11 so that I can afford the Rock Band 2 bundle. That $9999 price tag is too hefty for me to just pull it out of my wallet and be on my way. Confused? You should be. Read more…

Holy Bandwidth Breaker, Batman! 130+ Leaked Fallout 3 Images
by Demi Adejuyigbe on August 17, 2008

My inability to read Chinese will probably lead to an article mistranslation, but courtesy of Kotaku & cng4u, we now have 137 images of Fallout 3, from the ZeniMax Asia Expo (ZeniMax Media is the company that owns Fallout 3 developers Bethesda.)
Though I’m sure those in attendance at the expo were all forced to comply with an NDA before seeing game footage, there’s always that one guy that never takes the NDA seriously. Hit the jump to see the fruits of his labor.
Fallout 3 hits the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC simultaneously in North America on October 7th of this year.

First Screenshots of Batman: Arkham Asylum
by Demi Adejuyigbe on August 15, 2008

It seems there’s a trend lately in the industry- whenever a company announces a game, you can bet your ass that they will probably release, or leak, the screenshots in less than a couple of days. The latest game that follows this trend is RockSteady Studios Ltd.’s Batman Arkham Asylum, a chilling thriller from the mind of Paul Dini, whom you might know from the popular Batman: The Animated Series.
Unfortunately for RockSteady Studios, these screenshots weren’t leaked by some ambitious blogger or Batman fanboy enthusiast- they were leaked from RockSteady Studios’s site itself. Apparently, someone let the gallery of screenshots go live way before it was supposed to. The gallery has since been removed from RockSteady’s site, but of course, once something gets on the internet, its there forever.
Hit the jump to see the gallery of beautiful, Unreal Engine-produced screenshots for the game. Read more…
First Trailer and Screenshots for Shaun White Snowboarding
by Demi Adejuyigbe on August 14, 2008
Announced at Nintendo’s lackluster E3 conference and remembered as that game that was somehow related to the internet’s most famous soccer mom breaking her wrist, Shaun White Snowboarding is a snowboarding game sponsored by pro boarder Shaun White. It utilizes the Wii Fit’s gyration/motion-sensing technology to make you feel like you’re actually jumping up and down on a $90 box thing jumping off of the Alps on a snowboard. Well, in the Wii version, that is.
Not being one to show the least visually-appealing version, today Ubisoft released the first trailer and screenshots for the Playstation 3/Xbox 360 versions of the game, which you can see in the gallery after the jump. Read more…

Xbox Fan Site Locates Early 360 Avatar Pics
by Andrew Podolsky on August 3, 2008
![]()
Now here’s a heck of a scoop, provided it’s for real. Xbox 360 Fanboy has what may be the first glimpse at the character customization options for the 360’s avatars, which will be part of the upcoming Fall update.
It appears to be a much richer suite of tools than the Nintendo Wiis, but to be honest, this still doesn’t make me too excited for this Wii wannabe. Also, is it me, or does that extended ring finger on the right side look like it’s flipping us off?

Peter Molyneux Always Up For A Challenge
by John Landis on July 29, 2008

Peter Molyneux indicates how many days it would have taken him to create Earth.
There is an interview over at GameTrailers with Peter Molyneux that has some pretty interesting stuff about Fable 2… and beyond. The highlights include more discussion about the co-op and how that all works, as well as what I like to call “wuss mode” where you can’t kill any “friendly” townies and the like.
The most intriguing part is toward the end when Peter Molyneux states that Lionhead Studios is planning on releasing three more Fable games, even though the sequel (aptly titled Fable 2) is still two months away from release.
“We’ve got plans for Fable 3, 4 and 5 actually. It’s a big story arc and if you play Fable II you’ll recognize things from Fable 1.”
